It doesn't really affect them or Kear. They will still get their money and i'm sure if the Catalan job came up without this Kear would still havoc fancied it. The only person it will affect is Ted.Of course that won't stop people dragging Trinity's name through the mud.

No need for that. I have put the club side of the story, with a gentle reminder about libel, but I have not edited nor deleted anyones thoughts on this issue - nor will I unless they breach the AUP. I also fail to see how there is any form of even-ness about the 'other' forum - although I have not seen it and have no wish to (I am aware of some of it's content).

If as has been suggested the club are self sufficient and Ted does not put any money in any more (and with the IVA he wouldn't be able to even if he wanted to) - this is even more of a reason to consider a change at the top. Afterall, I don't think anybody could endorse him as Chairmen based on how the club is run.

We would no doubt save some cash and increase the professionalism of the club, if his family were relieved of their posts at the same time.

The situation is such that I see us dying a slow death under the current regime, so letting someone else have a crack is not such a gamble anymore. The next 6 months are IMO crucial to where the club go from here (with franchise applications due in later this year) and we therefore need to start and address our failings within the club now (and hope that there are some positive developments re the Stadium in time for the application submission).

One things for sure if we go out of SL. I cannot see us getting back in (even with a new stadium) unless Cas who would presumably stay in if we went out, did not make a good fist of the further 3 years or they extend the league which is unlikely to happen.

My problem with all this is nothing more than the non Wakefield fans perception of our situation. TRB, mate no one out of Wakefield care about the reasons, or the discussions relating to Ted's situation. If I have offended you, I am very sorry

I can only assume that you, I, and many others know how he was shafted over this, but thats not the point. People dont care, people make up or fill in the gaps that they dont know about. Perception of a situation in the public eye is all it needs

Doom and Gloom is all we have at the moment. I have not been happy from the day Brough left, the team and the atmosphere at the moment is shocking. I dont like it, I hate the situation we are in, and can only dream of a time almost 10 years ago with the likes of Paul Jackson, Ryan Hudson, Keith Mason, Law, Pearson, Sova, Willie, ect ect who may not have been the best players out there, who for most part were kids, but gave 150% week in week out, and win or lose you left knowing that they had busted a nut for the team.

Cooke, Blanch, Latu, Moore, and a couple more, get some old dvd's of these kids and no hopers at the time, and take a leaf out of their book, its called effort, pride, and passion, things you know sweet FA about.

Understood - well and truly.

But, the RFL have been kept informed, so have Colin and Rodney etc... These seem to be the most important people to our club at this time and, if we can keep them convinced of our future, then we will ride this one out.

IF those above decide it would be better to have a change of name above the door, then we will have to address it. I have got to know Ted and co quite well in the past 10 years, but I know them because of my support for the club and I have always seen Ted as the custodian, not as the club itself - a point that Ted is always keen to make himself.

I do not see anyone ready to fill Ted's boots at this time - that is not to say someone will not appear from the mist!

I am neither a doom and gloomer nor a rose tinted specs wearer but all this 'stick' TRB is getting seems

I didn't know at the time - I found out last Sunday night by PM and subsequently informed the club that the news was out there and ready to break. I think they had hoped that this would stay private, but it has lasted 6 weeks - which I reckon was pretty good really!
