Quote: King Street Cat "The ref had a stinker but in no way did it contribute to us losing.
Our backs just aren't slick enough with the ball. It seems to take an eternity for the ball to be played and go through 2 or 3 pairs of hands, by which time the opponents are up and tackling. George and Blanch have received much criticism but they can't score tries if they don't get any ball. Our wingers might as well have flags and double up as linesmen for the amount of ball they get. Rugby League is a simple game if you let the ball do the work and spread it wide.'"
Actually, I don't think it is a simple game. Brian Noble had us playing to a simple game plan and we were rubbish and boring to watch. Now Maguire has introduced lots of moves with excellent handling even in the rain and we are a pleasure to watch. Too many coaches are behind the times. I really wish Wakefield had a Maguire.
