some people may not know this but morro not only is part of our first team squad but spends alot of time out coaching our under 18s side. for me the quota space he takes up is one well used by the club. Give him another year!

Paul Cooke - Get Rid.
Kyle Bibb - Get Rid.
Paul King - 2 year - Been one of the stand out players for me.
Tevita Leo Latu - 2 year - adds alot of versitility to our game.
Glenn Morrision - 1 year - Need to keep hold of Tesco
Paul Johnson - 1 year - Nothing special, just a work horse. Need some grafters in the team aswell as creativity.
Danny Kirmond (Loan finishes) - Try and get him on a permenant deal
Jason Demetriou - Offer him a back room staff opportunity.

Would Latu have to re apply for his visa? Since he signed his last contract they have tightened up on who they hand visa's out to and as we all know he has a bit of a chequered past! If this is not a problem then i would be happy for him to sign another contract.

Of the rest i would think about 1 year deals for King, Johnson & Morrison but this would very much depend on who else was available and how much money they wanted.

Bibb would surely have gone previously if anyone would have taken him

Listening to JD talk at the Audience With lead me to believe that he knows this is his last season.

But if there was a chance to get Kirmond i would snap him up. Young British forward who is only going to get better. Tackles very well and hits the line at pace. Would be surprised if the Giants let him go.

I think Morro gets a lot of injuries because he gets a hell of a lot of ball and doesn't go missing in defence. Only issue I have with him is he passes when he shouldn't and doesn't when he should.

May not be the player he was but he bleeds red white and blue! Add him to the Johnny Thompson camp

I know JK has to look at this isue now, but ATEOTD it depends who comes in as to who goes, along with the form of the younger players who are currently on the fringes, Trout, etc. I think the Quota also reduces again next season so a lot of thought needs to be given to the matter. That said, I`d still be delighted to see the back of Cooke & Bibb asap!

Peolpe keep stating we need to keep JD in some capacity and that's all very well, but any role we 'create' is going to cost. Are we a) able to afford this and b) will people be happy with us spending some of our limited resources in this manner?

Don't disagree with the idea in principle but it's not as easy as it may sound imo

True you can't just invent a job, if theres a current postion open then i'm all for it.

You can; it's the money to pay the wages you can't invent!

I'm sure though that between now and the off season, something could be worked out using natural wastage and maybe some grant funding, to get JD into schools and other community settings, promoting the club, the game and all round great-blokeness, which he has in spades.
