I agree 100%. I think I will watch the match at home tomorow. At least I can get beer cheaper than £3 a pint and I will truely think after tomorows match about renewing my season ticket for next year.
I live in Methley and hope the new stadium is built, but looking at the games we have coming up (unless Cooke performs well tomorow, which I doubt) I think my support of the mighty trin will come to an end.

while things don't see rosy at the moment, there is enough to see some light at the end of the tunnel with the new stadium,
one more franchise will see us change direction I'm sure of it, if its silverware you want there's more than Trinity that has suffered lean times.

Most of that is true i'm afraid to say BUT what about the players that do want to play for us, the ones that bust a gut for us, maybe they are not world class but they give EVERYTHING they have for Trinity.
I'm miffed to say the least but i won't give up on these players, not this week or next week, while ever they make the effort I WILL SUPPORT THEM.

i believe it when i see it i dont think it will happen, infact it pains me to say we will not be sl ever again after next season and wouldnt be supprised if the club doesnt exist in five years time. i am going tomorrow for one reason only and that is to make my 7 year old happy as he wants to go.i have got to the point where i dont want to go cos i dont want to keep linning teds pocket, what ever people say bout new players coming in during the season the wage bill must be lower than what it was at the start of the season helped even more by the player where getting to replace tronc.
tomorrow will end in another defeat,we may play with a bit of effort for half hour or so but we simply dont have any quality players and once where a couple of scores down heads will drop, and has for p cooke there was only one person wanted him and that was our so called king kear

Over 25 years. Yes it has been a hard time, but recently, I don't know why, but I have seem to have lost the faith. I agree I should not give up on the other players that give there all every week, but something inside me recently has said enough is enough. I lost my job not so long back and struggle to get to the games which I enjoy, but I feel my money could be better spent elsewhere. Don't get me wrong I love watching trin and supporting them through the thick and thin, but there is something that tells me it may be time to give up. I lived in Outwood for 15 years and it was easy to watch trin, but where I live now I find it hard to get to the games and hard to find the 'get up and go' I used to have to follow my team.
Watching Cooke give a half d effort everytime he plays doesn't help. I have always gone to the matches where possible home and away, but I think I will struggle to convince myself next year (unless something special happens) to renew my long term season ticket.

'" I can hold my hand up for drifting away for a long time, having had the chance of playing for the at a young age I totally went the opposite way after having two injuries,
I even had Bill Ashurst try and tempt me back to the club when I saw him at our local, to no avail, then had ten plus years just reading about what the club did in the express
I then went through a divorce which made it financially impossible to even go,
but I have been lucky enough to turn it around and now I'm not going to let go at any costs, boy do I get some stick at work but Trin through and through,
I fear that if we lose many more fans we will lose the franchise through lack of support just at a time when when we need to be there for them, come the new stadium the phoenix will rise from the ashes its just a case of holding on
look at this another way you obviously enjoy watching rugby league, could you change alliance to another club

very disappointed about BJ not being able to play thought he was ready to show the bulls what they let go
JK said "Ben Jeffries was injured in our final training session. He was practising his goalkicking when he tweaked his quad."
hope it goes faster now

Dont get me wrong, I would never change alliance to another club and would always watch the trin, but it would only be on tv. I love the game of rugby and I am trin through and through. I have found another job and could if I wanted go and watch them, but I need something to 'pull' me to the games at the minute, and I don't see anything recently especially with the waste of skin Cooke, that will draw me to the games. I feel sorry for Wakefield because if they can't keep me ( a long term supporter) how can they pull in new crowds and keep them, especially in these hard times.
I feel the Leeds game was a great perfomance from the lads, and even though some players weren't there best they gave it their all.
Unless Cooke supprises me tomorow and leads the game which I think he was brought here to do, I don't see anything to pull in the big crowds of the past.
