Quote: PopTart "I think that actually reflects well on the team.
We have lost Brough and Newton from our original plan for the season. We have a little bit of unrest in the club with Tronc possibly leaving. New playmaker arriving that has to find his feet. A few other players not quite on form for various reasons.
Yet we manage to bond as a team to simply grind out the wins by sheer effort, where skills are found wanting. I think that is a reflection of a close knit family, trying to find their way under unexpected issues.
Power to them, and can't wait to see the wingers latching on to the Cooke kicks and passes once they find their timing.'"
Well said that man. Many seem to be glossing over the disruption which the club has had to endure in the season so far. In fact, if you had told me at the beginning of the season we would have only have lost to Wigan, Hudds, Wire and Saints at this stage, I would have taken it, without any of the off field nonsense. I realise the manner of some of the defeats is worrying, but to still be 6th in the table is remarkable given all the off pitch drama the team has had to deal with, I'd even go as far to say we are over achieving!
