It's interesting to see how far we have come, because I went to the game expecting a comfortable win, and a loss unimaginable. I know things can go wrong on the day, but a few years ago the thought of it would have been a cold sweat, bottom of the table tussle.

Looks grim for Salford this year. They looked well beaten pretty quickly, with a pack with no muscle at all. When they throw it around though, they looked effective, but most teams will murder them down the middle. Quins are going to get better (probably in the cup

), and so will Catalan, like they did last year, particularly when it warms up down there. Salford seemed to have a full strength team out there and were not good with it.

There's no pleasing some people is there. It's a win and a good one at that. 10 pts out of a max of 14 is not to be sniffed at.

There's a long way to go but the signs are good, we simply need to maintain form, consistency and hopefully run injury free.

We always fade badly last 1/4 of the season so that is the challenge for us this term.

Looking good but let's be thankful with the win.

It was a rather dull game (well, the 2nd half was) but I am happy with the result so dull games for me please.

we were faultless in the first 25/30 minutes which killed the game, don't really think that's dull tbh. The second half was just a bit pointless and i know which half i preferred watching

Cooke hasn't kicked a goal since 2008 so I reckon he'll need some practise too
