Franchise year was 2008, only one season has been played since so how crowds have decreased in the 2 years after only someone earning 40K a year knows.

Not to say the £20 on the day price tag won't be a put off for supporters without a season ticket. Still i think there should be more emphasis in encouraging supporters to buy the cheaper pre match tickets with additional offers.

Is there anywhere in town you can buy match tickets these days, because I can't imagine people with just a casual interest heading down Donny Road to pick up a ticket in advance just to save a couple of quid. They'll more than likely not bother at all.

I'm with you on this one. The only people who will make the special trip to the club shop are the same people who would pay £20 to get in on match day. So you end up with the same fans getting in cheaper and the on-the-day price putting off everyone else.

It's not so much having a casual interest - I've been a supporter for 45 years and I go to as many games as I can. But, living in the midlands means that a) I can't nip down to the club shop and b) I don't always know that I can make it to a match until that weekend. £20 is a stupid price to ask people to pay and, much as I hate to say it, I think I'll go to more away games than home ones this season.
