The Company I work for sponsored Danny Sculthorpe for the first two years of his contract at Wakefield and we always found him very polite and proffessional and always willing to support our Company if he could, he played in Company Golf Days, Presented prizes at Company events and when he sat on our Company table at the end of season dinner always conducted him self in a very professional way.

Danny Sculthorpe may have made mistakes but he has gone to another club now, so let us all look forward to the new season now and take John Kear's example and forget Danny Sculthorpe

Happy to let sleeping dogs lie. He seems to need to drag it up given every oppportunity. Being generous to him, it may be that he's a tad naive when it comes to the press collaring him about an obvious story. Without that generousity, it is hard not to see him as a rather ungracious individual who really ought to see the part he's played in his own misfortune.

Maybe one of his golfing buddies, big brother or even his spokesperson daddy ought to have a quite word with him and tell him to concentrate on using the talent he has.

Well the first two years he was happy and enjoying his Rugby, and was glad to play under a coach like John Kear, especially with the freedom that Kear allowed him to play with.

Of course it was the year after when everyone turned evil at bad old Wakefield and suddenly his natural game was being stifled, forcing him to break an alcohol ban and then complain at the injustice when he got the comeuppance of his misdemeanour.

P.S.Anyone know where I can get six inflatable beer cans ready for Bradfords visit next season?! If he’s still that sore about the whole episode it might be worth winding him up about it, because he still can be a dangerous forward.

As a sponsor you are very aware that things can change unexpectedly - and yet they still come forward for the club.

to be fair Phil his latest press outing started the ball roaring towards the 10 pins , it was water under the bridge (again) until that crash test dummy had another pop. Remember the good old eighties and nineties when all players had this perception of us
