Season Launch

Wakefield Wildcats will be holding their annual season launch on Monday 21st December.

The event will take place at the Hearwell Stadium between 12pm and 2pm. Fans will get to watch the first team squad in training as they gear up for their boxing day clash with the Leeds Rhinos. Fans will also get to meet the players, who will be signing autographs and posing for photographs.

Supporters will get to hear from some of their heroes for the first time, including new signings Terry Newton, Glenn Morrison, Shane Tronc, Darryl Millard, Ben Jeffries and Paul King.

The day will include performances from the Wildcat Dolls and Wildcat Kittens, and inflatables from Sno Zone!

A Christmas party will be held in CATS bar for all Junior Wildcats after the season launch 3pm – 4pm, playing Christmas themed party games. All junior Wildcats need to confirm their attendance by texting 07957112194

The shop will be open on the day, with both the new home and away shirt available for purchase and season tickets are still available to buy.

no letters have been sent out to the juniors about this yet, is this just a glitch?

i think due to the fact that the event is a week on monday letters would not be delivered in time so the club have said they will advertise through the media and website for this event.

also this is not cost effective for the club and i think it is hoped that the true fans will check the website on a regular basis.

as i have just worried that a few my not get the chance to do so , up to this morning i had no idea about the party.....maybe a small events calendar could be looked upon for 2011 with summer/easter camps and other events attached.

i do understand that the postage cost must be huge.

BTW are mascots chosen from members ?
