I mean the new shirt / season ticket "deal". The sponsor's logo is a loss-maker, but having the name of a scrap metal merchant emblazoned across your chest is not what some people may consider the height of cool either.

No new shirt for me this year, unless someone gets me one as a pressie. sick to death of new shirt every year.

Creates interest, bit of a buzz about it. The fans voting on the design is always a good ides - makes fans feel they have a say in something. Just good PR.

Agreed. The thing that they do is hype up the small things and turn what is just flogging a shirt into an event. A lesson for us.
