From personal experience, losing your father young is hard to deal with and to be honest it never gets any easier, it just gets further away. My thoughts are with the Watene family during this extremely sad and difficult day. If nothing else I hope the inspiration his passing had on his team mates provides a little solace for them.
Our baby is due today (nothing happening just yet..) but Joanne commented that our baby is due on the day Adam died, spooky but it would have been nice in a way to remember him through our new born. I cant believe its a year ago, so much has happened since. Best wishes and thoughts to the family.
Wore my Adam Watene memorial shirt today and saw many people wearing the wakefield shirts.
Well done to Wakefield for a memorable year..You did the big man proud !.
