First time poster but thought someone should dispel rumours. Billy has not had his eye removed though he is still to possibly undergo further surgery at St. James hospital on his return from Exeter where the accident happened.He is on his way home now and goes into St. James tomorrow . There will be a bucket collection at Normantons first team game at home tomorrow ko 2.30 and all raffle takings from junior fixtures played this weekend will be donated to Billy and his family. The race night has been put back to sat 31st oct though the auction at the comrades will go ahead as planned on fri 9th oct. Everyone is welcome .
Up n down definitely lost sight in his eye will find out in jan whether he will lose eye or not but at moment its looking good .Hopefully make a good amount for him next week to help him through xmas period .As well as coaching second team he s back helping with his old team now the under 15 s so keeping him busy whilst he cannot work .
