similar situation..mother in laws birthday..me not the problem but little un doesn't want to upset mum or mother in law by not going .. but wants to go to the game..he has been mascot for the last 3 catalans games, 2 away and we have won them all...lucky?

Anyway, a playoff match against Catalans is better than no playoff match at all.

I also thought that the kids season tickets had extra vouchers for the playoff's, i suppose £5 is not too much to ask.

Yes there was a good turn out by HKR fans but I don't agree with Edlie Hemmmings that that there were more HKR fans than home support but I do know that there wasn't nearly enough considering:

It was mine this Saturday; I took her out for a meal the day before and then took her to the match on the Saturday, easy!

Theres I would say at least 30 of us Wakey Fans at the same wedding Saturday ...we will all at the game in spirit and hoping the Wildcats make it an even more special day for the bride & groom.

We have a wedding also on Saturday, darn sarf. Well Northants, 2 hours away.
The wedding is not the issue. My sister is coming over from the States, and my attendance is not negotiable.

But, I will speak to the Matriarch, i.e. my mother, and see what I can negotiate.

I'm in hospital having an operation Thursday. Should be out Friday and determined to make it Saturday night. Going to get my ticket tomorrow in any case - see it as convalescence and an incentive!! How good are the first aiders and will I be allowed in with a drip on a stand - or is it an offensive weapon???

(Could fill the drip with beer - now there's thought)
