| Doubt we'll put Atkins on the wing with Murphy out anyway. Not sure he'd have the positional sense defensively either, fielding kicks etc? Though he did take a kick on Sunday!  |

He played wing for us in 2006 when Evans came and was significant in that role as he tightened up the defense.
In the big Cas match he caught the ball behind the line, and drove out when all looked impossible. That was one of the turning points of the game.
Also scored a pretty good try down the wing too.
So I'd say he'd be ok....but would just need the practise to get the positional play back after playing LF all season.
Don't get me wrong, he'd be wasted in our team on the wing.....but it is wrong to say he can't do it'"

He was hiding and having a rest when that ball came over, but he did take it well  |

| see that annoys me he was back there as murphy was in severe pain after breaking his jaw in first 20 mins so atkins was helping him, and i believe atkins will shine this week
