Am I the only one who thought Atkins played OK today...

Made some decent yards

I just remember 2 occasions where he "ballsed up"...

The obvious pass out to Grix and when he started running backwards in a tackle losing us 5 yards...

But apart from that, I was happy...

I think the point is that we could fault most players today. Just about all of them either passed, kicked, caught or tackled poorly. Just a terrible day all round and completely un-explainable after we looked so solid the previous 2 weeks!

Because we only get up for the big games not the ones that we have a decent chance of winning - look at the Quins game the other week apart from the last min of brilliance we did not look interested all game

actually your right but theres is a specific issue re Ryan and we should not ignore it, especially baring in mind all the hammer peterson got, rightly or wrongly.

Its not a scapegoat thing, its a solid assesment of where he is and is he worth the status the england set up and we at the club give him?

and my opinion is that the answer is no, hes no better than others in the team and if otherclubs think hes worth big cash then let him go, i dont want us to pay him more than hes worth, just what hes worth. As I do with all the players.

Yeah I dont know how you could go so far down on Ryan when there is so many other dissapointers today..

What I did notice is that we went back inside about 3.20pm which seemed quite early. We gave our first penalty away in less than 60 seconds and they had their first try with 2 minutes. That set the pattern for the rest of the game

how many times must I say it Atkins is not a centre play him on the wing or get rid hes no 2nd row player either

Cant believe some of things people are saying on this thread about peto, jesus he was gash at our club, not world class nowhere near.

The one person we should be putting some of the blame onto is moore WHY THE **** didnt he offload the ball for us to try, instead he was trying to go for gloryby himself and dropped ball over line, if he'd have passed it danny would have had a harder kick but id of backed him.

we have a lack of quality cenres worldwide pal not just in SL I blame the so called moden game

As for Atkins, he's only done today what he's done all season, I'm surprised that it's taken so long for people to turn on him, the club would be better getting rid, replacing him with murphy at centre and using the spare cash to convince Snitch to stay.
