you talk sh*t. I didnt say people should park accross drives. Parking slightly on pavements allows ONE car to pass through as opposed to.......none! We are now told that parking at the side of the drive obscures the view of residents

Yes. We have huge problems with traffic and parents. A lot of our kids are in wheelchairs, seriously disabled and need special access to the school which involves coming into the school car park. This in turn is abused by other parents and leads to all kinds of problems.

| Quote J.T="J.T"The weather was bad but I'm not sure what you are saying people should be allowed to do because of the weather. Mount the kerb? Park on yellow lines? For me that still just makes the whole situation more dangerous especially in the bad weather. No need for a truce it's only a debate!'"
Your missing the bigger issue. I think the broccoli tree has been dismissed as merely a 'bush'.
For what it is worth, I'd forgive an ambulance parking like that in an emergency. Heavy rain? I'd hope an attempt to use that argument when getting a parking ticket rescinded would result in an increased fine and being forced to walk precious little Cinderella to and from school whilst wearing a sandwich board with the slogan 'I am an arrogant tw*t who is doing my child no good by raising them to believe it is accepable to flout the law and needs of wider society purely because it inconveniences me and my own self-centred universe'.

Edited for Accuracy.
Next time you take your kids to school call in and ask them to learn you some manners. Its fairly obvious you have got o levels in rudeness, there is no call for it. I put it down to the education system its clear that your teachers at school did not go a bundle on job satisfaction.

I dont mind them parking there snowie. Some have come from the other side of the village and have young babies in the car. What got up my nose was that poster saying that the locals were not happy unless they are causing trouble for them parking. If I am waiting to get out then I can wait a couple of minutes but if I cant get in where am I supposed to park in the meantime. And fwiw I have always been against parking on the pavement.
