From what ive seen hes been quite lazy at times,missed a tackle which allowed broughton to score near end.Hes a big unit just think he needs to get fit and could do with some confidence, should be a force in a couple of years.

To be fair to Frank, he did chase back 60m to break down the play before that and he was the only player onside to make a tackle on Broughton...

Bit rough on the lad there, at least he chased back and got into the line for the play the ball.

Would you not expect a winger with all that room to beat a second rower.

Seems to be coming along nicely, deffo worth a contract, offers much more than hendo, both in the short term and the long term.

I have watched the guy play a few games now and he seems to be making progress. I liked what I saw yesterday and it was nice to have a bit of size in the pack rarther than all the little pivots.

I would certainly pick him in the 17 for our next game.

No problem with Winterstein but have to agree we need to develope our own first.

Whilst I totally agree that we need to develop our own local talent, Winterstein has that X-factor - pace, which, if we can utilise fully within our systems, could be powerful attacking weapon.

Why not develop him aswell!

Your right, the 2 options are not mutually exclusive in my opinion. We need to get the mix right, and it probably proved to be the right call selecting him as many suggested we should.
