Thaler is never a ref that goes overboard on the penalties when i've watched him and i was suprised at times he gave so many.

As for the game overall i wasn't confident at all going into it but thought in the end the scoreline flattered you. We handed 2 trys on a plate to you guys in the first half to keep you in it and unbelievably didn't get the kick away on the last at the start of the 2nd to give you possesion to get the lead. Without those schoolboy errors the game would have been over by halftime.

A poor day at the office for you by the looks of it but you'll be back. I'd still fancy you to beat us in the cup game.

did not go to game so can only quote 2 different commentators who in a round about way suggest that me Nobel should stop throwing stones (Huddersfield) and that wigan spoiled the game . only going by an independent expert though so i guess it must be wrong

no mutley they were bad, however we were never square or onside! the forward pass rule for both sides was ignored, and head high tackles were allowed for today.

dont think it changed the result either way, as john kear said after game it was a "weird game"
