saw the specials,selecter and dexys midnight runners at unity hall.top night! also saw elvis costello at tiffanys! remember his tour bus got broken into. used to be loads of good bands on at unity hall in the eighties

We booked Scorpions to play Wakey Tech on their first-ever British Tour, think it was 1977. Turned up with all their gear in a juggernaut lorry, we were used to bands turning-up in a transit!
They insisted that someone had to go on stage and introduce them and I drew the short-straw, was really egging it!.

Brilliant gig, they enjoyed it so much that for their second British tour they rang us up to ask if they could play Wakey again!

yeah i thought same about the pistols reunion.

Yeah, saw The Damned at the Unity Hall at least four times between '79 and '81. Great days.
