Quote: The Clan "There's nothing wrong with the things he tried to do but the time and the place were wrong. His attempted offload came after we had been under sustained pressure and he was on our 40mtr line with 30+ minutes left in the game. It could have been one of those game turning incidents that seem innocuous at the time. When you trace back to where you began losing the momentum you often find such a mistake at the foundation.
Experience will teach him better but I hope he carries on trying to make offloads, just when it's the right time.'"
This kid is class.
I know it's not quite the same level, but I remember when Henry Paul came over, he would try some things - sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't, but Toppo didn't stop him, he just helped him choose his timing better.
One day Pitts will be able to do these things in the mans game - and get away with them, and I reckon that's not too far away!
