The saddest part is seeing a grown man trying to intimidate a 14 yr old ref, true the game my of needed a calming influence but parents baying for kids blood justifies my doing what i did.

shame for the lad who scored twice head n shoulders the game breaker and had the opportunity of a hat trick snatched away.

congrats to the parents of Stanley who did not get dragged into a feud.



btw as far as stanley are concerned its nothing to do with a certain player choosing to play where he is comfortable that is his choice i just hope that his talent is spotted and that he is not harassed by grown ups.

I'm getting a bit fed up with the parents of late, its become a witch hunt onto one player who is head above the others in his enthusiasm effort

stanley rangers is a well run club get things sorted with the commitee they will back the players 100%. how old are they u11s ffs, things to remember with kids are they are learning the game, theyre young and happy and enjoy life. parents should also remember it is the lads game not THEIRS and parents should not try to live their lives through their kids

In a parents meeting I spoke about the amount of support shouted to the lads on the side lines was getting excessive and it has been recognized and toned down, what we can't cater for is the oppositions actions in the way the didn't respect the wishes of the referee, this is a young lad learning a trade and had the balls to confront there coach, a verbal rejection to remove himself from the field left him no other than call the game off, so this one is down to their coach
