| Good to see fans disappointed with crowds of Six and a half thousand for Wires game .,shows how far we have come as a club in the last two years, remember we are still a team in progress ,a few years ago we would get 2 maybe 3 games of Six thousands plus and the rest of 3 to 4 thousand .Think Wembley last year proved the support we could get at home .We have just got to be a regular top 4 team and get to semi-finals .The best thing is we are moving in the right direction to become one

I got told on Sunday that the West Terrace re-development is definitely going ahead at the end of the season, so hopefully should be completed for next season ??
I guess it depends who told you.Matt didn't say that at the forum. He said they've got planning but hadn't decided as it wouldn't actually increase attendances. And they might prioritise north, though that is very expensive. Maybe they've moved on from there. Having the Council and Fire Brigade re asses the ground since improvements would be the best avenue to increase crowd density. The NS sell outs leave loads of room in the back of the stand and also the corners. The ground as is cold hold 10k I would estimate with no further work, but a recertification of the safety cert.

[ With the north and East sold out the West could very well increase attendances if it was redeveloped so I’m not sure about that.
The north would be ideal though despite being expensive. Still so painful to see all that wasted space and capacity.
Anything you build with seats will reduce what is currently standing unless it's on 2 levels which is less likely with the houses behind. He said he could make it nicer but hard to make it bigger Whereas North has unused space so a direct increase, except, as Carter and Minards found, to take it back further you'd have to lift the roof, which suddenly lifts the cost in millions.

What do you mean seats? I don’t think there was any plans to make the west seating. I believe it’s to be standing. It’s a real shame with the north what it will cost to correct it. Years ago it never had a roof so maybe we can just remove it completely and just sort the terracing and look to add a new roof at a later date. I’m sure Matt will find a way to enable growth. Looking forward to seeing what’s coming next whether it’s west or north.

Looking forward to seeing what’s coming next whether it’s west or north. So if you keep it standing, how are you going to increase capacity? Does changing standing to seating increase capacity? I would have said the opposite. Without the dimensions and detailed plans of the area how would I know for sure. But I would imagine seats would lower rather than higher it. I just don’t know where you got the seating from and was curious to see where you’d heard it from. Potentially though with those boxes being demolished there could be some extra space generated at the back which could increase slightly by adding extra step of terracing for example or there could be limited capacity due to condition of terracing on there similar to north I don’t know. But if there is a possibility to increase capacity on the west after a few sellouts this season then it should be explored at the very least. You appear to be saying that seating is the way to go to increase capacity. If that’s the case then that should be explored too.

Thought Mr Ellis said at the forum ,the best way to increase capacity was to do work on the North Stand ,Work on the West side would not make a lot of difference at present

| No not at all. I'm saying developing that area won't improve the capacity.
It will simply make it a nicer place to watch rugby.
Taking the boxes out is fine but something has to be there for the media side.
It's really all about how high you can go. Height gets you capacity increase for either standing or seating.

I think they'd defo be happy with that first and improved facilities..... Then we could take the p*ss out of Dirty Leeds for their Western Terrace with more reason!!
