I agree, every team in SL have brought over dud NRL players. The 2 players I mentioned in Vaughan and Sims have played Rep footy in the last 2/3 years and could still be playing now in the NRL, pretty sure Proctor and Taufua wouldn’t.

Neither were playing NRL 1st grade at the time. Proctor hadn’t played in months and got sacked and Taufua had hardly played any first grade games for 2 seasons prior to us signing him.

All very positive stuff, if all the plans come to fruition then maybe we will finally get back to mixing it with the big boys in time. It might not all happen overnight but the future seems very bright.

The bit I did specifically like was Ellis saying he's here for the long haul and if we don't get what we want first time every time he'll keep plugging away at it.

And I liked Powell saying he thought it was a good fit at Wakefield for him and he likes to build something rather than just keep a top team top.

Yes and that’s the important bit because must not underestimate the championship. There are some great clubs striving for what we are and it is not be a foregone conclusion that we will top the league !!!

Think that puts the comparisons with Koukash to bed
