Ken Davey is a freak, he's committed everything to that lost cause and I admire him for it. But in truth Hudds are a RL team in a soccer town and always will be, no amount of money will ever change that. So I find it hard to believe that anyone will defy reality with the same stoicism as Ken.

Money (not earned) has flowed into Hudds more than any other team in the last 30 years but they stubbornly remain an also ran. This is because IMHO that deep down only Ken believes.

Imagine if we had a Ken!

Who are the 'big 4' exactly? I always come back to Warrington & Hull who seemingly can compete off the field quite easily with Wigan, Leeds & Saints, who have won every G/F since it was introduced in '98 apart from Bradford. So if we include Shudds as in the financial side of things, what criteria is needed for the 'big 4'?! Clearly it's not how much money you have, it's what you do with it. Warrington, Hull & Hudds have thrown as much money about as the other 3, but have a few challenge cup wins, a couple of league leaders shields, and that's about it in the last 30 years or so. Having it doesn't guarantee success, but not having it also doesn't mean you can't be successful either. In relative terms, Salford have been 'successful' in the last 3 or 4 years, i would have gladly taken the ride they have been on and been to the 2 finals they have.......

I suggest you read the Yorkshire post about the giants and their stadium , it’s looking likely that they’ll lose their stake in the ground to the football club if a huge bail out can’t be found ,as the KSDL are looking to ship control to Huddersfield Town after looking increasingly likely that they’ll go into administration due to huge debts

I could do that, except I don’t trust newspapers

I’d rather go and talk to Becky Davy or Ken and get the truth
