League positions are misleading at the moment. Hull are near the top but going through a bit of a blip, on the other hand Leeds are bottom but going through something of a resurgence. Both Hull and Leeds will be wanting to finish the regular season with some form before the split, however, Hull KR are still not confirmed as to which way they will split and have everything to play for. I can see KR getting the win at Hull and taking it to the final week where anything could happen. I can easily see us having to beat Cas to finish in the 8.

All you say is true but it's still in our own hands unless Hull beat KR then job done.

Truth is we are still way ahead of anything anyone really expected. We are in a way victims of our own success. Apart from a lull in form in June we have played pretty recently. Problem is teams now know they have to turn up to beat us and they are doing and we don't quite have the playing roster to cope.

We really need to forget other teams and concentrate on the Cup Semi and the Casand Cats game.

Hull will not want to do KR any favours and to believe so is just crazy. How many believe Castleford would do it for us and based on recent history we would not do it for them. The same for Leeds they want to finish as high as possible to secure the extra home game, so again it would be crazy to help out a team they are looking to replace.

Still think we can get a result at Catalans myself and then Cas should be a close game but wouldn't matter in the grand scheme if Hull win, or if not, we get the result in France .
As for Hull KR, they've been consistently inconsistent all year and they've also not won 2 in a row all season. They've played a bit better the last couple of games but if Hull have their main players in, I can see them having a bit too much for Hull KR. Hull will also not want to get into any losing streak before the main part of the season starts for the Top 4, so they'll be well up for their big derby. Hull KR also have Leeds last game who have been looking more and more like their old selves, which will be a hard game, as we found out.

What Hull KR will beat Leeds for sure? have you seen how Leeds have been playing of late. They're not the same side as they were earlier in the season, that's for sure. As for your last bit, how do you get that when we've beaten Hudds twice just recently, as well as beating all the other sides once. You could argue we've fallen over the line after we went on a run of wins but then again after the start we had and how low expectations were, we'll have done well this season and that's leaving to one side the CC semi.

I cannot believe some of our pathetic supporters on here,if someone had said 12 months ago you will be top 8 and in a cup semi we would have laughed...credit to everyone involved at the club for such a turnaround

If we finish 8th we finish 8th why put it down.It does not matter when we got our points we got them.Its about how many points you have at the end,Thats how it works.

But that's the point, we're not yet in the top 8 regarding play offs, we need Hull to win or us to beat Catalans or Cas.

A draw in the Hull derby will be enough tonight.
