It's funny that because I found him completely ignorant and unapproachable. But that was when I wanted to discuss an issues that he didn't like. From my point of view the man is the complete opposite of your description.
He seems to only engage with people when they are blowing smoke up his rear end. But that is my point of view. I don't think the guy is purposely running the club into the extinction. I think he's too stubborn to admit he isn't always right and to ask (spend money) for help and the overall good of Wakefield Trinity.

going away from MC what do we all want from the club, financially we have been inept for yrs, we finally get someone who wants to get this right and then their pulled to bits while he's still doing it, if this was your club and your money would you continue to plough money in while we continue to get a negative attitude from the stay away fans, its bad enough from the ones in the stand

The point of my post is we all have opinions on what we do and don't like. Yet on this forum you are instantly shot down for asking questions of the club by people who will follow blindly. SP asks some very good questions and its nice to have a balance of opinions.
Do Wakefield fans not learn, we have been so badly run all this time and just because someone comes in and says the right things at the time we all believe their every word. Well most of you that disagree with SP were all Glovers best mate when he was at the club, even when certain posters were telling you its all gone belly up people argued with them, look where that got us!

I aren't suggesting in anyway Glover and Carter are the same before someone gets the wrong end of the stick.

said it for ages the club needs a front man. Someone who can issue press releases , engage with the press , media and fans. provide a link with business, offer informed advice, take control of sponsorship and public relations.
Sometimes its not what you do that causes problems its the way you do them.

I work with one every day, sick of hearing his opinions while he continues to rip the club to bits and not even contribute anything to the club, but he is quite willing to go to the pub and watch the game from there, how the hell do you expect club to get any revenue in while you get support like that,

SP has had a few good questions but is hell bent on harping on about MC taking the club away from BV, funny how we are in a better position now the threat had been made, if we had continued to just ignore the problem it in its self would of fetch the club to its knees, as for player selection its done within a budget so as he has said the club gets what it can afford, then what we get two of the best players going off the rails you just can't make this up

yes I would support my club at what ever division it is in but it doesn't make me any less determined to see success there, so if everybody took the stance of only supporting a successful club yr in yr out then it would get pretty boring, today I'm going to feeling that nervous tension that should get you back next season either way.
as for season tickets for next yr how can you predict what happens until you know what league we will be playing

Lets reverse the question you asked. How the hell are we going to make any revenue when the club do nothing to retain the fans? You seem to have come to the conclusion MC has. Essentially your blaming your work colleague and the 2000 others who have had enough of watching dross @ £22 a time for the state of the club! How many times this year has there been any attempt to engage with lost supporters? How many times has it been acknowledged the performance on the pitch is not acceptable but the fans who turn up have had no apologies and no response a week later from the players?

I competley admire your devotion to the club. But you can't expect everyone to feel the same as you! It's not the fans fault and it never has been!
