| Quote Inflatable_Armadillo="Inflatable_Armadillo"Sinfield hardly ever speaks out of turn or back-chats to the ref. He might talk to the ref quite a lot, but he always does this within the laws and as captain of the side he is fully entitled to speak to the ref. You might not like it, but he doesn't (generally) break any laws!'"
I'm sure I heard that he threw the water bottle down the other day in a tantrum over a decision that went against them at Shudds

He may well operate within the letter of the law, but not within the spirit of it; I absolutely can't abide watching one professional trying to get a fellow professional penalised - it's abhorrently footballesque - and he does that all the time.
It was a wonderful moment when Mr Child binned him for backchat at our place - I hope Mr Ganson shows a similar lack of tolerance.

| Quote GiantDee="GiantDee"Thaler, Ganson & Silverwood are the better refs, I actually think James Child can become a very good ref a bit to go yet.
Alibert is shocking and I think a large part of that is down to Mr Cummings hanging him out to dry for his mis-count earlier this year. Yes it was a bad bad error, but the sanctions should have been private, =#FF0040the poor guy has no confidence in his own judgement.
For your match against Leeds you really wanted Silverwood - he is a Leeds fan but overcompensates in trying to not show favour. Failing that its a toss up between Thaler & Ganson, though Ganson may put on a TV special (he is much better in non-televised matches imo).
Having seen Leeds surrender to Giants on Sunday I think you have a very good chance, but you need to be at your best as they are capable of beating anyone when they click.'"
Having tried to have a conversation with him following the Wigan home game, I can assure you there is no lack of confidence, his arrogance is quite something.
The match commissioner and other officials had, shall we say; less confidence in his judgement and prowess!!!!

On a similar theme WTW are the only team this year not to receive a yellow card,
www.superleague.co.uk/stats/clubstats
We conceded the third least penalties too which could have been better had Andy Raleigh not upset the ref ............. down at London.

Only if the ref asks to speak to him first, he doesn't as captain have any more right to talk to the ref as anyone else otherwise.
I have seen him approach the ref and try explaining to him where he's going wrong on numerous occasions without firstly being beckoned.
In fairness he's not the only one and probably not the worst offender but a saint he ain't (unless they have signed him instead of Hull and i haven't heard!!!).
