TBF I think clubs are 'advised' by the RFL to use O'Hara's (not neccesairily a bad thing as keeps it simple). But for a club based in North Wales to use them isn't exactly standard procedure.

They are - suits all parties as it keeps the costs and learning curves down, and also precisely because O'Hara's DO know how to run a RL club. At least, a damn sight better than an accounting firm with no prior experience of RL clubs.

Maybe your right Adeybull but why then did OHara say "The RFL have said they would fund me for a minimum of 28 days if a purchaser is not found,” he said.

The RFL have basically stated that they will support the admistrators and therefore the club for a minimuim of 28 days to esnure that the staff and players are not out of a lively hood should finding a buyer take longer that a few days (as in the case of Crusaders).

If they dont support the club for 28 days then logic would suggest that all the players and staff will jump ship. I think i would do if i were threatened with redundancy.

The RFL is ensuring that funds are available to pay staff and players salaries so that who ever buys the club actually has a club to buy. In essence its a loan to the club to stop it totally falling apart and actually having some staff to run the company.

I assume this is probably to stop the administartor having to sell more assets (players) to pay wages.

Without that RFL cash flow all staff & players would become free agents and could go wherever they wished for nothing! (see Widnes 2007).

Looking more and more like Glover is just full of hot air and does not have sufficient funds to get us out of the soft stuff let’s face it we are not talking thousands to get this club up and running we are talking a few million. I get the feeling he has now realised just how much it will cost him and he’s got cold feet.
Please just put the old girl out of her misery then we can all move on.

Understand fully why you feel like that - but you must not. Yes it's distressing, but we can't throw the towel in today - because tomorrow we would regret it, and for the rest of eternity - and you know that is true because that is why you feel so depressed today.

You can speak theory but I suggest you live in the real world from someone that has business experience.
