| Quote TRB="TRB"No-ones head is buried in anything. We have a few issues which need to be addressed - and hopefully will be - but I can tell you that the BoD are as disappointed with the lack of application as anyone.
Mid-season is a difficult time to change things around, as seen following the 3 departures, so we are reliant on what we can do between now and February. We are currently hampered by our situation with BV, although this is starting to get clearer and, all being well, we will have a much brighter outlook in a few weeks time and this may even effect the recruitment for next season.
As it is, I would gladly follow the side we have now - if they got their fingers out, but there are too many players under-performing right now.
As you are on here posting, I imagine that you are a supporter of the club and, on that basis I would suggest that you will be at the games next season and that you should do yourself a favour and take advantage of the early deal whilst you can and save a few quid. You knowww you want to!

I am a supporter of WTW that's why i spent nearly £400 on a family ticket last year, i would glady follow a side that give's 100% week in week out even in defeat, i can handle that, but our demina, body language, and attitude does not impress me, i remember waiting 5 hours in a car park in Wrexham and the players got a standing ovation when they got off the bus and we hammered Crusaders, and i would wait 5 hours every week if we gave the same commitment, our team has not changed since then ???, i understand that confidence is a massive factor, but so is Attitude, and ours is not good at the mo, as for renewing my season ticket i'll take a rain check...
As for Newmarket fingers crossed, but unfortunatly this will still not guarantee our SL status even if we get it, the weakest will still bow out, our best hope in my opinion is Crusaders or Quins go bust.

But that's the point - new season = new attitude. Things WILL be different!

TRB i admire your loyalty and wish you were wearing the No 6/7 shirt i would gladly stump up right now, but that old chestnut about things changing get's a bit matanous after 30 years, i remember Ted and Toppo arguing years and years ago when Toppo wanted to invest in the club and things still appear to be the same, maybe you should be on the board TRB and give me a free season ticket....lol...

I'm not wealthy enough for that!
The Toppo thing is a proper red-herring. I was at a meeting with Toppo and the so-called investors - they had no money either!

Genuine question - does that include Mr Kear, who is both on the BoD and directly responsible for the lack of application? Also, if they're as disappointed as anyone, what are they doing about it?

I don't know all the details - that would be wrong - but I know that they are fans, just as we are. Only they have reality to deal with and not just hypotheses!

On another note am i the only one getting fed up with refs, blowing up scrums and re-packing them for all sorts of reasons, just penalise teams that don't do the simple task right first time. Must have happend 8 times yesterday.'"
You're right there. Why do they bother? It doesn't make any difference at all.
Quote BIGAL1="BIGAL1"
And while i'm having a moan, 1 conversion did not go over yesterday but got awarded all the same. Bradford fans stood behind the posts could not believe it.'"
It certainly seemed to go wide from my vantage point on halfway too. The fans around me were surprised they gave it, but touch judges just seem to be there for ornamation puposes.

| the title of thread is right but should be aimed at the ref on we had on sunday,
after watching bootsnall and seeing three tries from bradford all three when slowed down showed them to be forward passes,
it just leaves me seething that we have to put up with this low standard of reffing, as it is we was still not good enough

Just watched it myself and have to agree; two were definitely forward and the one that resulted in the Menzies try was borderline.
