Drove passed a couple of elderly NIMBYS this morning putting the new leaflets through doors on Aberford Road near Newmarket Lane. If I'd had more time, and no Trinity stickers in the car I would have stopped and asked them about the pack of lies they are peddling
There is a double sided A4 letter with the flyer (I have a copy of both now from my 'mole' down Bottomboat) .... Stanley to Methley flooded by sewerage, 5000 cars trying to park down Bottomboat and Moorhouse, on an Iron Age Settlement, otter and water vole habitats completely destroyed, litter everywhere etc.. etc.. etc..'"
Realistically I don't expect to receive a reply neither do expect them to post my message on the website however, if they ever partake in a public forum I would use my correspondences with them and their lack of professionalism in replying, against them.
I hate the way that this or these individuals can peddle this crap without any kind of comeback, you'd think in this day and age that there would be some way to force these people into retracting their comments and posting some kind of apology, though I suspect that's Wishful thinking on my part.
I hope these people get exposed for what they are as publicly as possible sometime soon |

So not only was he suspended, he's also no longer a councillor. How embarrassing to have linked him in a negative way to this non-council funded project. How potentially libelous. How rude...

Oh dear, here we go again.
It is clearly the same person (and some of his neighbours) behind Wakefield CCG and we already know who that is! The website layout, the language, it is all the same as the other site.
He has gone to greater lengths this time to formally conceal his identity and the site www.wakefieldangryresidents.com has been registered through Tucows and he is using an identity security service to conceal his registration details. I understand that this is easier to do with a .com address rather than a .co.uk address.
Mrs Armadillo, who is the communications professional in our house, thinks it probably does libel the council but that they are unlikely to do anything about it as it is not worth the effort or money!
I am going to post this on my original thread. I spoke to the Wakefield Express and they have back-tracked slightly about a pro-residents story! They DO want to run the story but not until there is a reason (in their eyes) to run it! So maybe another a development in the story, near to the planning meeting itself etc. It is a little disappointing but it is yes, but when they say yes unfortunately!
Watch this space, we need to keep fighting the rubbish being peddled by these NIMBY's. |

how can we when they open up new website's with information that is wrong ?
as for Wakefield Express I have contacted them about some fly tipping involving their mid week extras, bundles of them still strapped up have been dumped on snow hill instead of being delivered but they haven't got back to me,
I fear they have made their mind up about our club and just don't want to support us can we not go national to show them up ? |
