There is some confusion over this issue.

'Green belt' is merely a designation by the council in it's UDP. Any piece of land can be determined as such - whether previously developed or not.

'Green field' is an area previously undeveloped.

Your general point is correct. The land is not 'Green field' it is 'Green belt' - or some of it is!

Q. are we going to have designated home and away ends?

IMO we need to recreate the same atmosphere we do at away games in our new home. 1 of the standing ends should be for away fans only, allowing families and fans of both teams who wish to sit to go into the "family stands" down either touchline, then have our barmy army in the remaining standing area.
Essentially catering for fans who want noise & those who prefer a slightly calmer feel to the game.

Don't know but gone are the days of changing ends at half time, something that you can't do at most grounds and thats sadly lost to our game.

Yeah designate both seated stands for families and fans of both teams who wish to sit down.
Leaving one end for away fans to stand & one for us. Would imagine if that were the only standing area for home fans it would sell out quickly!

I know i will be buying my season ticket for a standing end as soon as possible. In fact i could even be tempted to buy a ten year season ticket if we ever put them out.

I would imagine that is the plan, I'm sure it will be a great place to visit with a good crowd on.
