Well said youngcat, the majority of fans from both sides actually want each other to suceed as thats what proper rl fans are like, a few bitter fools on both sides just try to stir up trouble.

I'm with you on this that both our clubs get their new stadiums. Just a shame though that there are those who bitch about each others stadium wishes.

Banter and wind-ups are different from bitching. Most fans would hate to see the demise of the other, as the season would lose something (like some guaranteed wins - bum-tish!).

Alternatively you could've quoted the full sentence without truncating it to give a misleading view:

But it wouldn't have been as funny.
