I take it your referring to his late assault on Ian Watson.Watson had kicked on the fifth and your man followed through with intent. The touch judge saw it advised the ref and he had no alternative but to sin bin him,it did seem cynical at the time as Watson was running the show as far as Swinton was concerned.

Buster got sin binned but it was Brendan Rawlins who flattened the kicker.
Pretty dumb error given the 6 inches in height and probably 4 stone between them.

simpsons/simp048.gif I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

We were all puzzled by this. Either the ref mistook Buster for Brendan, or he binned buster for dissent - either way Brendan did not get punished - unlessthe ref deemed a penaly sufficient.

Take a look at the last tackle of the game - A frustrated Hawkyard deliberately and maliciously swings at our players head (who is already held by one of your players). It could be argued that that deserved a straight red card.
If you only want to view the game through one eye then stick with the rest of the cyclopses on your own board
I don't think the game was dirty but both sides got carried away at times by the passion of the moment.

| Let's be honest here. It was the turning point of the game. We more than held our own during the 10 minutes our captain was in the bin and kicked on from there.
In a way it was good old school prop forwardry. Sit the half back hard on his backside and get in to his head.
Was it a penalty? Yes.
Was it a sin binning? You certainly could argue the point either way. It was a late hit when a player was unable to protect himself from the impact. At the same time, this isn't ballet we're paying to watch.
Was it an assault? No chance.

With respect i do believe it is you lot who have brought the matter up and you could argue that if as you say Hawkyard did indeed take a swing at one of your players then it was the passion of the moment as you rightly point out.

But you mentioned the word "assault". If you make ridiculous statements then you can expect this type of response.
Swinging at or near a players head has been treated seriously by the RFL of late - see Sam Tompkins "planking" incident.

I agree with all of that.
That 10 mins when Buster was off was the catalyst. When we went down later in the game we had the confidence to kick on and win.
