Well done to the fans who travelled, and our(barrows) first half performence was brilliant, back to last years form, second half, you lot got up at us, and made it harder, and we then were average, i dont know how stronger side that was for you lot, but for the 10 fans that travlleled i respect you, its anlong way on any mid week, but at 6pm its hard, so well done, see you next time we meet, and good luck,

Thanks for your post barrowtilidie, we were out class in the 1st half but we came out fighting in the 2nd we just need to do what we did in the second half for 80 mins and we might just surprise some teams along the way it was a good nite apart from the result hope to see someof you down at cougar park on the 3rd of may.

Anyone found out the main reason for the stupid kickoff time yet for last wednesdays game?.

My guess one of the following:

Their floodlights again or Police request due to something very large like a generator coming out of the industrial area ajacent to the ground.

Their chairman is a Man Utd Fan, and wanted to watch the game.

That is one great wind up.

No wind up, that's what we got told on arrival last Wednesday night.

If this is right then Keighley should never have agreed to it.
If they didn't know then the RFL should be told about it.

We were told the RL sided with Barrow, because Keighley did offer to go play Tuesday night instead. This is what was going round the terraces on wednesday night.

Who told you Cougar Red? Probably someone with very little knowledge of the facts.

We accused the club of this ourselves and were told that DJ was at the United game so moving the Barrow kick off was irrelevent to him. Whatever the reasons for moving the KO time, the change was agreed by both clubs and I cannot see what raising the issue with the RFL would achieve. Its my understanding that your club had the right to veto the move if they wished, if it went to the RFL for arbitration, Barrow must have provided a suitable justification for the move. Rather makes the continued debate a bit pointless.

I wasn't happy with the earlier kick off myself btw.

To be honest, how many Keighley fans would a later kick-off attracted? Not enough for anyone to fall out over, I'm sure.
