Best team lost in all fairness. As poor as we were at times, your lot really lifted their game and were only undone by the last throw of the dice. Keep playing like that and you'll be knocking on the top five, no doubt at all.

My first time on here, although I have been reading posts for a while. Thanks to all you Leigh folkes, it was an excellent game today. Thought the ref gave some strange decisions especially in your second to last 6 set. However, really good game by both teams. Well done Cougars, let's keep it up, and good luck to you guys from Leigh for the rest of the season (Apart from the return game).

Anybody know how the lad is that was knocked out in the first half? Looked a nasty one and a few fans said they saw an ambulance pulling in at HT.

I still can't work out how one Leigh lad running into three big Keighley lads resulted in one of your men going down, first thought was a shoulder charge gone wrong. Was the incident put on report?

Wilkes was put on report for suspected lifting of the knee. A Keighley player was put on report for something similar in the 2nd half.

Thanks, obviously only saw the incident in real time but a knee would definitely make sense, intentional or not.

Was following it at work, through Sky Sports until I went on my break at 4.30, great stuff. Got back to be told we'd lost to a last minute try. Gutted, but what a great result, all the same

I don't think Wilkes was on the field at the time. He only came on after 20 minutes.

It was Wilkes, and from the angle I saw it he did lift his knees. Difficult to say if it was intentional or he was trying to drive through first contact.

Paul March said after the match that Luke was being checked over and would have to undergo a "head" test before playing again.

It was a rough, tough game, but not dirty.

Luke suffered a concussion and was unable to return following the relevant tests. He's fine now though but nursing one hell of a headache!

It was indeed and just shows I am wrong again.

Anyways good to hear the lad is OK apart from the headache.
