Have these words been used by the club, i.e "signing to shock the championship". I ask out of interest, not to catch anyone out because I can't recall reading or hearing it.

I tend to take what Gary says with a pinch of salt. IMO, I can't see us adding many more big names other then the ones we already know about, but hope I'm wrong and somebody ploughs in some money.

If that is the case why should the club go out and get a expensive new signing. Wouldnt it be better to save the money till the season after?

Wrong I think. 2014 season is when it gets serious, if not crucial. Keighley needs to finish in the top 9 to be certain of a place in the second tier (the new Super League 2) for 2015 season. Otherwise they'll be down in the third division (whatever it's going to be called) in 2015.
