I say again Neil is not a creditor, and as Dreamer says there is massive difference between cannot say and will not say, its a case of cannot say as told by the person who supplied the info.

If I could I would have posted to prove my point without doubt.

I found out that there were no directors of the club at Whitehaven and Neil was a representative of the club.

Can the club kindly confirm why by allowing this to happen knowing the feelings of fans, after all he is just a fan now so open this up to others if possible. I do not include myself in this.

He's listed as a creditor in the administrators proposals, alongside Farrar and Fawcett, local businesses, and the dreaded inland revenue.

Whether he'll ever get any money back is debatable, but he IS a creditor

AJ I am not disputing those you mentioned were on the proposals as creditors of cougars 2001 and any deal had to get acceptance of at least 75%to go for an iva of creditors which clearly was done, however once the organisation goes bust all debts are wiped clean including the tax bill.

Now the club is now a not for profit organisation any profits which for a rugby league club is small would be split 50% to club other to previous creditors but there is no obligation to do this but its more of goodwill gesture to keep locals sweet as.

Neil is not a creditor of cougars 2010.

In my opinion sending Neil Spencer as a rep for the club shows a mssive disregard by the new board towards some of the loyalest fans of the Cougars.

If Mr. Spencer is anything more than a creditor of Keighley Cougars 2001 - I have been spun the biggest bag of e I've ever heard....

If he has any influence within the club and or, receiving payment of any kind, I am back to supporting The Cougggrrrrs on Radio Leeds..

I have received confirmation again that Neil has no role whatsoever at the club which is in line with rfl finding him unfit for being involved at club, and that he was at Whitehaven purely and simply because the other directors were not available, why he was asked is another debate.

The clubs rep at away games is Neil Cullen who as mentioned before had other comittments on the day.

As far as I amconcerned that satisfies me no matter what I think personally about his previous misdemeanours.

Can't say I'm impressed.

If he's not involved, then don't ask him.

If this is right, then i have to wonder why he was asked.
All the hard work being done by the new board, could be undue.

They is a lot of ill feeling amongst fans about the past.

Why is Neil Cullen the only one to represent at away matches?? Not quite getting this if this a non profit business one must assume that the people behind the club are doing it for the club, the team and its fans and they too are fans. Are there many Clubs that turn up at Cougars without an official or Director from thier club?? Not sure how this works.
