Quote: Hello Trouble! "There was a section of around five-six Swinton fans next to the press area who this could be possibly aimed at. There was some atrocious language being used by them!'"

Still its a starting point as to try and fix this issue

Just like to say well done again to whoever picks the music. Yet again swearing several times on a song. The song after the final whistle was a disgrace. How can you play a message about not swearing and then play songs like that. Surely you should check your music before playing it.

There was no music with foul language played, any music played was either an old song played many times before or a song outta the top 40. The song you talking about it sounds like they are singing the word sh*t but its actually the word hips, I did change it but to be honest there wasn't any swear words or foul language in it. The thing is in 27 years in the business I have learned a longtime ago you can never please everybody.

Keighley has a fantastic community radio station in Jam Radio. Cougar supporters will know they broadcast full match commentaries, for example. The station has a quite a number of experienced presenters. I'snt it time the Cougars directors looked to partner with Jam Radio? In return for giving the station free advertising at Cougar Park, I'm sure one of their experienced presenters would be sufficiently insightful to be able to play the correct montage of music to build up atmosphere prior to kick off, celebrate tries and victories etcetera. Mr Dubane could perhaps offer to act as his/her right hand man.

Oh it's Mr Churchill again, the old get rid of Dubane again. Just to let you know Churchill I don't work by myself on the PA system and yesterday there was that many press in the box I had to sit in the stand with just a mic and no control over anything. I thought yesterday's entertainment was good and I'm sick of replying to jokers like you who just like to have a malicious pop anytime they can. The topic was foul language and announcements were made like I promised. If you need to know about radio stations Churchill come see me, believe me when I tell there's no one in the area with the experience and knowledge I have.

I am sorry but if you think a man standing in front of the main stand with his hands in his pockets where no body in the bottom stand can hear him is entertainment you must be having a laugh.

Why are power ballads been performed before a game of Rugby. Do something up lifting! It was an embarrassment. The entrance music is great. But all the other music is up to date music that will go down well at a night club not A Cougars match.

your comment about no body having more experience than you is a load of rubbish. There are hundreds of local experienced d.js/ PA announcers. A lot of other experienced dj s would not play songs with swearing on them and check their music first.

I think some of the comments aimed towards Dublane are quite personal and unneeded.

Does someone have a personal grudge eating away at them?

I also think a personal grudge appears to be happening here.

Go and speak to the fella instead of slating his volunteered efforts on here.

Nobody can say they do not know who he is or where to find him.

Captain cougar the reason I stand in front of the main stand is because if I move too far away from the main stand there is a big delay from the microphone. The singers performed for free has usual and were acquired the night before by myself. Here's me thinking someone singing is better than nothing. Just to put you right captain cougar I have worked in just about every pub club etc in this area in 27 years and don't need to answer to you needless comments. All sounds like 1 little gang of people together with a personal vendetta. If you have ideas come see me talk to me, don't spout ya crap on here. The PA system not working at the bottom end is not a clear cut fix, I need to get my son to re route it all on the audio network and not a 5 minute fix. This is a very complicated job and unfortunately he's been busy working in my pub for many hours. When he gets chance he will be looking at it.

Its hardly a personal vendetta when I don't even know the man. Like ive said how can any one think having a man singing a power ballad with his hands in his pockets is entertaining.

Its like anything else on here you obviously cant have your own opinion. Im not personally having a go at any one. All im saying is things could be better and if thats classed as having a personally vendetta then this whole forum should be closed down.

With all due respect it was the 1st time the singers had ever performed on a rugby field and they were both nervous. It's totally different to performing indoors in a pub or club due to the acoustics and the sound delay and without in ear monitoring its difficult to do fast paced songs unless you are really used to the system. These singers are both professionals in big local bands and have performed for many years and to come down to cougar park and perform for free with like 12 hours notice for free, they should both be thanked and not slated. This topic was foul language and has now been swung around to me and entertainment etc.

I'm gonna organise a night next week where people can come and see me, discuss songs etc look at the software we use and how it works etc. this will give you an opportunity to have your say and see how things works. If anybody is interested in this please reply.

Dubane , don't take this as ' having a go ' ........ just constructive criticism ,
I posted it here to save starting another thread -
I and a couple of others have noticed that after
tries have been scored the music is going on far too long and well into the goal kicker setting
up the kick , got to be off putting hasn't it ?

Just something to think about.
