| Talking to the Dean Windass look alike after the game in the Bar and he was impressed with our playing faith and said we deserve to stay up. He was a "very nice" man. The Double on Sunday is on the cards get down on sunday to watch this experience.

| Get in again!!TEAMWORK ,TEAMWORK,TEAMWORK,we have bucket loads of it.
We may not have a lot of flair like other teams but we have plenty of grit.
Thought we blew it early doors in the second half but we dug in...
Class by Daley to knock that ball back, for me man of the season so far.
Can we survive? If we do i will be taking a week off work to celebrate
Well played fellas

Reminicent of Greg Inglis tap back for Billy Slater in the Tri Nations final last season.
Daley had a magnificent game last night.
We looked a lot more potent when Brendan and Shickell were on the field because they had the size to compete with their pack.
Danny Jones' kicking just seem to cause complete and utter havoc all night.
Then there was that drop goal, which was with 2 seconds left on the stadium scoreboard.
The way he was marshalling and rallying the team last night was very impressive. I know it will upset some of the pro-Buster brigade but I think he should be made captain, he's on the field for 80 minutes and is the natural leader on the field.

40/1 to win both halves

| First of all its refreshing to see posts from the losing team fans on here not slagging us off saying we were lucky etc, thanks to Eagle fans that posted here.
Now to the game the highlights for me apart from the hooter going were Daleys tap back for James Hutch to score, Hutch to me looks class.
Another was watching Barry running down steps the steam coming out of his ears after some ill discipline from us.
Some offloads came off some didnt, Buster should have been alert when Scott offloaded as this is one of Scotts strengths.
Also Jamaine once again caused havoc.
Very happy Tom Sheldrake was okay, I hope we can get him permanently after his loan deal expires.
Finally the way the players dug in especially in the 2nd half was nothing short of fantastic, just goes to show that the eagles with all their non british players were not as good as they actually think they are.
Bring on the Rams , with luck Featherstone will beat them easily.

| Watching it in the pub last night.
Talk about a range of emotions
What a win.
This coming on the back of the Halifax game should really lift the players.
Lets hope they can keep it going.

| I think a reality check points out the following:
We actually played better in the Halifax game than this. (But the ref robbed us)
Had Sheffield not had a kicker who was even worse than Dodgy, they would still have won.
We are nowhere near up to the standard of Sheffield with our hotdogs.
That aside, Sheffield were not as hungry as Cougars. (Maybe been chomping their hotdogs)
Sitting safely mid table, what have they got to motivate them ?????
Sheffields chances of Superleague gained nothing from last night.

| We played far better in the Fax game.
Our 3 tries last night came from a lucky riccochet from a kick, a knock-on and a brilliant tap back.
We never scored from opening their defence up and breaking their line.
Most importantly though we stopped their momentum in the second half and found a way to win, something we've not done in close games in the league this season.
Sheffield's hotdogs are the second best in the league after Toulouse's.
Why was the open stand at the opposite end to the ticket office. Not good to walk an extra quarter mile with a injured ankle.
That pillock who decided to taunt us about us going down at the end of the game was a disgrace. I'm glad none our fans rose to it.
And last but not least the pint of Thornbridge Jaipur I had in the railway station was a cracker. Let's get some behind the bar.

You could equally say that we have lost games from such "unlucky" incidents. Its about taking advantage of the chances you are given and we did.
We did break their line with a very good move but it was ruled forward.
We were quite poor at times but determination and belief got us through and at the moment its the points that are important. I would prefer to see more flowing rugby, but I really don't care as long as we win.
If we survive (and its still a very big IF) we will need to strengthen the side.

I believe the open stand is at the opposite end to the ticket office as thats the stand that is facing the TV cameras, sorry to hear about the pillock, obviously not a true Eagles fan as all the regular fans admitted you well and truly deserved it

| I think I know who the fan in question is, don't worry about him, i'm not sure he's playing with a full pack of cards if you know what I mean.
Well done Keefleh, you fully deserved the win

It was shame because there was a decent amount of good humoured banter between both set of fans which can only be a good thing. What he did crossed the line betwen banter and provocation and especially dumb considering nearly all the Eagles fans had left the ground by then.

| Bramall Lane good ground but crowd got lost in it. Facilities great. Atmosphere, I never like looking at empty stands. Fans quiet but in the main good natured. I had a wonderful time.

I've been to Bramall Lane a few times and it's a nice ground.
Easy to get to by train, unlike Hillsborough.
No running track round it like the Don Valley so you're closer to the action.
Because it's a football ground, there's no terracing which is a shame.
Not too keen on buying tickets from a ticket office, it slows the process down too much.
Facilities are first rate, the food was very good although a little expensive.
Last but by no means least is that it's 10 times bigger than you need and twice the size of what even the largest Super League team needs so as Goosey mentioned the atmosphere's lost in the sheer size of the place. I think it's going to take a lot of hard work from the Eagles' backroom staff to boost attendances in a city dominated by 2 of the 3 biggest football clubs in Yorkshire.
Good Luck.
