I know of one young fan who was identified correctly and then called out by the stewards only for his father to try and drag him away. I would back any action that was to be taken against him as I was three seats away from him and know exactly what he said as do one or two of the players families. If this youth was to learn early in his life that such comments are unacceptable then he may still turn out to be a respectable adult.

Unfortunately you are always going to get someone who is racist.
We have had problems in the past at Keighley, with our fans doing it.

Its up to the club to set a example.
If someone has done it and the club can find out who has done it. Then the club should ban them for life.

Speaking of 1200 fans, that's a massive turnout for a club with Super League aspirations.

Unless you are omnipresent and can be in every part of the ground at once I don't see how you can say this with any degree of certainty. I personally did not hear any racist abuse but as I was walking out of the ground overheard a fan who was sat where there was. I don't regard this fan as a liar.

Every club has fans who get carried away in the heat of the moment (including us). Its the responsibility of the rest of us, and the club, to make sure this does not get out of hand.

Look at crowds at other matches that kicked off at 1.00 yesterday, I think you will find all were massively down.

They have not shown themselves to be "major thugs" so far in their careers (but I can recall a few who played in red and white ) If they did deliberately put the "knees in" then I am sure the RL will review it and if guilty will deserve what they get. Its a shame you didn't also see the hands and elbows in the faces of prone Keighley players, but then thats what happens when you wear tinted specs.

I was at the game, and did hear racial re-marks by a yong lad about 14 i whould say, dont want to go to the RL but do think the club should look in to it,. the hospitality by the club its self was one of the best i have seen 1st class
