Quote avebullswon="avebullswon"I think I mentioned the word planning
Pay on a credit card at the right time of the month and over a 3 month period you would only accrue interest on one of those months.
Get a credit card (if you can - point taken) so you are guaranteed your money back if things go belly up, as so many prophets of doom thought they would over Summer. I for one was willing to put money into the club when they needed it.
If watching the best sport in the world for less than £10, £12 or £14 a game (depending on which deal you get) is
not value for money then go watch a set of Prima donna
cheating "sportsmen" in the Premier league (you may just
be able to afford about 5 matches at some of the less
fashionable clubs)

Couldn't agree more, the economy is not great to say the least but if people wanted a ticket at a great offer of £120 then they would have found a way, friends, family, credit, as you said, the interest I paid on the credit card over 6 weeks was well worth it and it provided the club with cash at a time when income was low due to the RFL not paying up when they were supposed to!
Support your club as they support you with good offers instead of the usual doom and gloom that can be read on this forum at times
That said, I do sympathise with anyone who has become victim to the state of the economy, more so at this time of year and wish them and their families well
