| Spot on. Am dying to see Cougars off-load more and throw it about a lot more. I'm convinced our players can do it and I think we'd really put some teams to the sword if we did that. The only time Oldham looked anything less than comfortable the other week was when we started doing exactly this in the last 20 minutes or so. It's not rocket science.

| After yesterday's excellent result, we now have what should be the easiest run-in (of all of our closest rivals) to the end of the season. Three games which we should easily win. We must ensure that we show no-mercy to London, Gloucester and Hemel, plus the fact that we have 8 days to recover from yesterday's game whilst Skolars will only have (almost) 3, which should mean a 'cricket-score' result on next Monday evening.
At present, we have a points deficit of 139 compared with Oldham but they have to play Swinton, a game which they could easily lose.
Given that scenario, it isn't inconceivable (but possibly unlikely) that we could still finish in first position if we play as we know that we can and put 60 to 70 points against all three Clubs, whilst ensuring that they score less than 10 to 20 points against us (making allowances for our usual mistakes).
With this potential situation in mind, we can only hope that it hasn't been lost on our coach and that he will do everything within his power and ability to ensure that we do finish in top position to give the fans a home tie against Oldham in the play-offs.
We now have the backs that can outpace their rivals and the forwards (on their day) who are equal, if not better, than their opponents. Let's hope that we can put it together again and start firing on all cylinders (especially with the return of 'Tiger'), as we appear to have done in our last two games.
As usual, it will come-down to that last game of the regular season.

| Our playing style is a constant source of frustration to me. Five drives and a kick? I could coach that! Fair enough, in the second half yesterday the weather conditions didn't allow for much else but in the first half - for the first half hour at least - conditions were nigh on perfect. For four consecutive sets all we offered was a pass from dummy half followed by a drive at every play-the-ball - so around 20 PTBs where we did the exact same thing, pass it to the nearest man and have him run in. No invention or creation, no off-loading, and we seem to do this every game. Many moons ago, Marchy assured us we would be seeing 'expansive' rugby league. Once or twice per game perhaps but otherwise we just aren't seeing it. We have some good backs and speedy wingers, it might pay us to actually use them a bit more.

| Thanks 'CDC'. It sounds as though nothing has changed sine we moved to the South Coast three years ago!
We never have used our backs to their abilities, with the exception of the 'Phil Larder Era' when they were given their chances and look what happened.
So, it sounds as though we'll struggle to win our last three games by the margins which could ensure that we finish top (assuming that Swinton beat Oldham).
We'll be at Hemel on Monday and hope that we actually do see some expansive rugby but, as I say, 'We live in constant hope'!
By the way, what has happened to the stand-off from Bradford?
Is he injured or is it something else? He seemed to be a decent player.

| Head down backside up one man plunge has been the Keighley style for years and years. One coach changed it but eventually the standard returned.
Why does anyone expect anything else?
If it ain't broken don't fix it

| It's always been broken as far as I'm concerned but the numerous coaches appear to ignore the fact.
That said, Jason Demetriou was an exception, as was Phil Larder.
What I fail to understand is 'WHY'?
We have players with both the pace and ability so it must be THE COACH!
So come-on Paul March, get your finger out at last!
Comments from the Club would be appreciated, always assuming that the Club is interested!

| I think we would all like to see open expansive rugby but beware not to moan when they lose it or knock on when taking it wide early in the tackle count. We can't have it all ways up.

I think you will find most fans would rather the team try and fail rather than not try and fail.
As an aside, sometimes even the simplest things can be the most beneficial.

| If we only play five drives and a kick with no invention.
Why do our outside backs score most of there tries from the ball being moved along the line?

I am certainly one of those but just pointing out that most that stand around me are the first to moan when we do drop or lose the ball. Please tell me where you stand if it is any different there.
