We've made two new signings who will get people talking according to the club.

I know the name of one but not the other. I can't disclose the information though.

I will be drawing up the official club statement in the coming weeks as and when I receive more information.

Lots of talk about the two players when we were having a drink in the bar at Worky.

The same names were mentioned by a few people. It will be good to see these two playing, if it is those mentioned.

I can understand wht you cant name them yet. As i would imagine they still have commitments with there clubs.

i heard two names as well, anyone in the know can they say if its a full back and halfback,

Craig Moss has not put pen to paper for Cougars yet (?) and would like to see him stay at the club - a great player.

One of the names mentioned, plays in one of those positions. I was talking to the other player mentioned when we were up at Worky and he says its not him.

You have signed Paul Handforth from Halifax. Confirmed on Gareth Walker's twitter. Thanks for taking him off our hands, never been so disappointed with a player at Halifax.

This was mentioned a week ago on the fax forum.

Listening to the fax fans, half of the team are "underwhelming" which either brings into question Rhino's recruitment policy or his ability to get the best out of players.

To be honest, handforths name does not stick out in my mind so I can't comment.

I to know lots of Fax fans. Most of them are not happy in one way or another with the team/club.

Handforth was outstanding while at Batley. He provided leadership and organisation in every game he played. Despite what they say at Halifax, I believe he will prove to be an excellent signing for you.

For the record, Paul Handforth was the signing I referred to in my earlier post. I was passed on the information in the build up to our visit to Sheffield.

I was informed to not disclose the information until the clubs say so, as you can see the club has since said so.

He'll be a decent signing, but maybe a player we've signed a year or two late. I assume he will be a replacement from Leatherbarrow. Scott has shown glimpses of what he can do, but far too error prone and maybe a player that needed the arm round the shoulder.
