To be honest and I’m sorry if caused any confusion, it is a rumour but a lot of people seem to be saying the same thing so I have probably jumped the gun.

Any news on the takeover? Thought we were getting an announcement this week. If the rumours that Lingard is coming back are true then from his words at the supporters Q&A I'd assume Shane Spencer is leaving.

Not to jinx it but sounds like we're out of the woods for now, league express and BBC sport both reporting Craig Lingard and Steve Gill will return to the club, special measures are over and training will start on Tuesday. Remains to be seen what type of team can be put together but I suppose anything is better than nothing. 

So does anyone know who's actually in charge now and where money to pay the players came from? Has Shane Spencer had a change of heart and decided he wants to try and run the club properly or has the ownership changed? As of now austria holdings are still persons of significant control on Companies House, so what happened with the rumoured takeover?

Something doesn't sit right with me. Are the board going to inform us more. Re open the website or just more rubbish from them. Can't forget the last 3 months easily

Why would they run a normal happy club all of a sudden after all that's gone on.
I heard yesterday that all the volunteers were asked to leave the ground because they voiced there opinions about players wages.
I can't believe that Gill and Lingard have fallen for all the bull s##t that he must have told them for them to come back.
Why destroy a club then come out and say your going to rebuild it.
Spencer won't be getting any of my money through the gates or bar.
I wish the club all the best and will be looking for there results every week.
But I won't hold my breath with this person/company being at the helm and I can only see more and more problems in the coming months.

Mr hicks something very dodgy is going on down there and the only way it will change is new owners. What happened to the consortium trying to buy the club?

Some new documents registered with companies house today, looks like Austria holdings no longer own the club and someone called Claire Auty owns the club outright. Anyone have any details??

Googled her and if it's the women who comes up is a solicitor from Wakefield.
Looked at her Facebook page and she has rugby pictures on there so could be her.
Maybe she has represented Spencer in court and that's how there acquainted

Keighley news doesn't read very well.
Club won't answer any questions, nobody still knows who actually owns the club.
How long can it go on.
7 weeks to start of the season and advertising open trials 4 weeks before the season starts.
This sums up the state of Rugby league in this country at the lower level.
They don't care about teams outside super league.
They need to step in now before it's too late.

Reports on Facebook that Spencer has refused a cash offer from O'Neill. Rumours of damage to the ground with the bar being ripped out and the ground being abandoned with the gates left open.

Sounds awful.

The Coop own the land/ground and RFL Facilities Trust own the lease.

On the board of said trust - Nigel Wood, Ralph Rimmer, Karen Moorhouse and more.

I assume one of the above has given the green light for an obvious and blatant crook as seen below to take control;

Q1. Why was he allowed to take control
Q2. Why has there been no intervention from the leaseholder on behalf of its tennant?
Q3. Who stands to gain from the situation.

I have a theory but no way dare I say.

I am not a Keighley fan - but I do support the game as a whole. And as a game we can't afford to be losing grass roots clubs.

Its a pity the RFL don't appear to give a ****.

As for prior remark regards they only care about SL - they failed there too - hence the formal split - SL now runs its own show.

Again - not good for the game - we now have a three way split - SL, Championship-L1-L2 and BARLA -and they will all work against one another.

A depressing day.

I hope at some point, things improve for your club.

Even the supporters club facebook page has been taken down.
Is tomorrow not D Day for the club regards coming out of special measures.
