| Quote: 666 "My reference to the time that I have been a supporter of this (once decent) Club is that I have seen some good times and some great times (as well as seeing some GREAT coaches, some mediocre coaches and many POOR coaches) but Paul March isn't anywhere close to even cleaning the boots of some of our former coaches.
Dare I even askTHIRD DIVISION Club!
Where are we?
4th in DIVISION 3, albeit with a decent 'Points Difference', which could take us up to 3rd but York have a game-in-hand over us.
It doesn't look as though we can or will overtake Toulouse or (even) Rochdale; so where will we finish the Season?
Hopefully (as I am the eternal optimist) with promotion but, with his track record, I trust that we will have a new coach next season.
How many chances does Paul March get?
Dare I even ask if his record is reflected in the attendances at Cougar Park? Better not ..... for fear of even more criticism.
With such a large squad, March has said that he needs to rotate the players, so why is (who can only be described as a 'Journeyman Rugby League Player') Cherryholme an 'ever-present' when other, better, more-consistent, proven try-scoring players are left on the touch-line or given the onerous task of being the 'water-carrier'?
There you go.
As for 'HC' and his comment about my posts
No one has asked you to stop posting or that you are not allowed an opinion. I have never seen anyone overeact as much as you. Sometimes I think I should send you a Keighley Cougar Dummy
I think March will be gone if they do not go up and it would be deserved. If they go up I would only give him a year contract to prove himself.

| Radical thought time!!!
Players need to time a pass, tackle, run round a defender rather than through, draw a an opposition player into the wrong decision and have confidence that 13 men rathere than 6 can play the game. Also realise that the 40-20 rule is a godsend and would save so much energy. But head down up rugby always worked in the past so why change? Bear baiting, slavery and cave painting had their day as well, but somehow......

| Could nobody else see this coming.
The results so far this season haven't been particularly good.
We have shipped in points against teams that are barely above standards of amature teams.
One team we played from the top 5 we got hammered at home.
Hunslet are struggling to make the top 8 and if that game went another 5 minutes we would have lost that one too.
A friend of mine who is totally neutral saw the result and asked if none of our team had been on an airplane before.
If Paul thinks anything about the club he should step down because if the club would have to pay him out of the remainder of his contract it would cripple us.
He owes it to us to put his hand up now and say I've done my best but it wasn't good enough.
3 years in charge struggling to make the top 4 in the bottom tier.
When he took over we were in the Championship.
If he isn't gone before next week's fixture I will not be stepping into the ground until he does.
I know at least 10 people that stopped supporting the team this year and I have only missed a handful of games home and away over the last 30 years but sometimes enough is enough.

| March is a decent coach but even he can't make a solk purse out of a pigs ear. Keighley need to offload the ageing players who are holding the club back. Get the kids in, they can't do any worse. Based on yesterday, Keighley are a top-half C1 side at best and nowhere near Championship level. I feel sorry for the superb travelling fans who deserve better....

This is Paul March team, he built it so can not expect another re-build on this league.

Don't need to, and the Toulouse game confirms everything suspected.
I pay £11-99 for 32 games of live NRL for a month or £16-00 to watch yet another single predictable game.
Guess which gives a better deal?

As long as you no longer claim to be a Cougars fan you can spend your cash on the NRL. Enjoy.

There are now far more that aren't than are. Perhaps the problem is not that obvious.
