| A solid and professional performance from cougars. Parata the highlight without a doubt. Referee a bit dodgy for both sides, refereed both halves completely opposite which didn't help either side.

| Quote: 666 "Yet another game spoilt by the abject excuse of a referee!
Bad for both sides and failed to ever gain any control of the game.
A great display from the Cougars and in Paratta we have a centre who actually 'takes-on' the defence. Two excellent tries, the first (his second) by direct runnibg at his opposite number then accelerating round him - nothing seen at Lawholme since the 'Pinkney' days! The second (his third) by combining with Haythornthwaite doen the wing with JH drawing the defence leaving Paratta a simple run-in.
Coleman played a blinder having a hand in several of the tries and 'ghosting-in' for his.
No real complaints about anyone's performance - the props palyed out of their skins!
An all-round great display, especially as JD rested(?) himself.
We'll need to take care next week though after Oldham pushing Dewsbury close. That said, any team will have difficulty winning on their ground (that's a loose description bearing in mind its state last season).'"
Can't disagree with any of this to be honest.
Parata is the real deal, he is such a destructive runner with ball in hand.
The referee was a disgrace. He seemed to have come straight from the Ronnie Laughton school of how to give decisions completely at random. I think the RFL need to realise that fans don't pay hard earned cash out to watch clowns like this guy ruin flowing games of Rugby League.

| A couple more things.
A Lancashire ground running out of pies before half time. Shocking.
Rochdale stewards, horrible jobsworths. Not the first time I've seen trouble with them either.

| Not to mention the farce of watering the pitch at half time!

| Who was it who dinked that ball over the top for what I think was MP's third try? I didn't see who it was yesterday and I couldn't make it out on Micky's video either......?

| I thought that it was Jy-Mel who had a great game yesterday.
It reminded me of the time that he played for Hunslet and he always used to turn us over. Not quite as heavy though in those days but his try is also one to savour for a long time!

| Pies from a local butcher can't be bad.
As for the 'Sooper Dooper Peter's Pies' or whatever they were called (and contained) then it's imperative for us to support a local producer!

Good news because , let's face it , the food being served by the 'butty van' by the bottom turnstiles is absolute trash , never tasted such rubbish and at £3.50 for a cheese burger is far too expensive.
