We shall keep the faith. We can’t fairly criticise when we don’t know all the facts. It does the Club no favours.
We can’t help but worry. We are told, don’t worry, it will not affect our playing next season and we will be in a stronger position.
(As this is the message the Club is putting out, we have to accept this.)
I assume a stronger position will be with no fewer players or points deducted.

But this is a forum and like all clubs there are those out there who feel they have points to prove and scores to settle. No doubt they will be on here with sharpened knives and wagging fingers and the "I told you so's".
I just hope that whatever the issue is gets sorted out quickly, cleanly and fairly and the club (who ever they are) keep us informed.
Uncertainty at a time when fans should be spending xmas money on season tickets etc is not good.
The longer the silence the larger the yarn to fill it. |

What do you mean by "the new directors on board” Are Messrs Spencer and Farrar resigning? Are new people joining the said incumbents or are you referring to the new directors already appointed?
The problem as I see it is that the Club make an official announcement that the "Tax Man" has started proceedings to wind up the Club and we are all told not to worry Neville Chamberlainesque. OBVIOUSLY people will worry. People who are owed money will worry; people who were going to buy season tickets will hold back; sponsors will think twice before handing over money, employees will look towards other employment etc.
If there is no reason to worry, TELL US why and what the great plan is. Why the secrecy?
I know that the Club owe money to more than the tax man and that if they could, they would repay it. Are the club about to come into some money? On the EVIDENCE available, i.e. a statement from the Club, at this time I believe that the club will be put into administration to avoid having to pay monies owed and this will result in points deducted and/or relegation before the season starts, players leaving and fans deserting. If I’m wrong can someone come up with a half decent argument as to why.

I think from a lot of reading between the lines the bottom line is, 'We are going to be alright' maybe or most likely 'in a better position than before'
I have bought 4 season tickets and know they will be worth every chuffing pound.
There is no reason to think with the size and qualitity within our squad that we shan't be enjoying a playoff place at the end of the season. |

I know your not having ago.
I don't think it adds fuel to the fire, as i have kept saying the club is going to move forward.
In fact knowing as much as i do. I hope i am showing people that they don't need to keep going on about things like local suppliers losing out.
There are things i know, which i cannot say in public. Hopefully we can all discuss things better when the club make a statement. |
