| I notice that there were some new advertising hoardings around the ground for a physiotherapy firm tonight.
Perhaps the 2 are linked?

| I also would like to wish Nigel all the best he was a good guy, I also want to comment on Nigel leaving but in his defence. Nigel didn't leave the club because of personal reasons or because of something out of the clubs hands. Yes there was some personal stuff that cropped up but nigel worked hard to resolve this with the rfl and governing body for physios. The Friday before the dewsburry game Nigel had a letter from the rfl stating there wasn't a problem and that he can continue working for the Keighley cougars and Nigel has this in writing. Nigel was finished because once again the club could get someone cheaper.
Nigel has said he will miss the players and fans and was disappointed in leaving the club. He has also said that in the next few days he will be on here as he would like to put his side across in detail and let everyone see the letter stating he can work in rugby league.
People always come on here and complain about everyone shooting the club down but that isn't always the case.

Do they? Always complain about everyone? I don't.

Without wishing to prolong the debate, there were problems surrounding him personally, which had nothing to do with money. Right or wrong?
Why would he need a letter if there weren't any personal issues? Does JD or anyone else at the club have or need such a letter?

| Lol, and you know that this has nothing to do with money. I am not gonna get into a =#FF0000Edit by guess who. No need for swearing even if it is using *** to hide it. argument with you. Yes Nigel has had problems in the past which he is going to openly talk about and like myself I am not perfect either which I am sure we all have something in the past we aren't happy about but at the end of the day he was given the all clear by the rfl to work for the Keighley cougars. This will be revealed as Nigel is willing to reveal all. Nigel has made a few mistakes like most of us but to try and shift the blame onto Nigel is wrong, unless you know fully what you are talking about I suggest you be careful what you say

Its a harsh world at the moment.
Everyone is after a bargain and i would imagine that includes the club.
If the new person can do the job. You can see why they would want to save money.
I do not know Nigel at all, but he seemed a nice enough bloke. I wish him all the best.

| This forum is becoming a joke, it seems to me and I aren't the first to comment on this that it seems to be ok for a certain little click on here that can say what they want towards the club and that's fine. Is it because I worked for the club and got screwed over by the club just like a long line of people that every time I make a comment I have got an axe to grind, this is pathetic I thought this forum was here for fans to view there opinions even if it is negative.
It is no secret and I don't mind saying that there is no love lost between me and the directors at the club and if you were in my shoes and new what I know about what happens behind the scenes then you can comment on my opinions. An axe to grind I wouldn't call it that at all and for people that know me on this forum I am an honest and genuine person that just wants the best for the club like us all but unlike some I haven't got blinkers on and can see what's happening.
No wonder it is the same few on here that always comment because if anyone else joins this forum and comments they are always negative or seen to be giving the directors a hard time or maybe we have all just got an axe to grind.

Whilst I may not agree with everything Rob say's or does I think he has come on here and shown positivity about the club since he left as en employee. He's been one of the first to generate threads on scores etc. That must be hard so respect to him for that. He naturally knows the reasons why he left the club but has chosen not to speak about it. That's his right and we must respect that. There are others on here than seem to put a negative spin on most threads yet like Rob says it seems he is asked the question about axe to gind etc when he speaks about Nigel. Let's be honest, it's a bit rich that GW asks him the question when GW himself was one of the first, if not the first to speculate and generate rumor about the clubs finances following the early bird season ticket launch. Maybe some just get off on stirring up others?

| Rob on the Terrace,
If your comments regarding being careful what I say are aimed at me, thanks for the advice but I am always careful . Having qualifications in law I am more than aware of what I can and cannot say.
Being very close to more than one "insider" at the Club, like yourself I know far more than I am prepared to put on here. I will point out inaccuracies and/or bad practice where I can -I was one of the first to slag Gary off for the timing of his season ticket announcement - but I have a balanced view, I am neither for nor against the Club. Actually I am probably more anti than pro. but not by much.
I have been very close to the Cougars over many, many years and you do not have to tell me how they have screwed people over and like you, I have been one of those people on more than one occasion. I heard the circumstances of your departure and I have to say I think they were mostly out of order. I admire the dignity in which you have conducted yourself since then.
I am fully aware of the circumstances of Nigel's case and know that there are at least three sides to every story. I am not sticking up for the Club, or Nigel I am just pointing out that there is more to this than the original poster stated.
I look forward to hearing Nigel's side.

| Errrrrrr .... Calm Down chaps , There are fors and againsts with any 'story' so I suggest that anyone with any kind of opinion about Nigel , the Way he left the club etc etc etc should go and read his side of things in the appropriate thread.
This is the thread title "Why Nigel Bondswell was replaced"
