| IMO we need some strength in the backs. With Jake taking time away from the game and the protracted issue with Parratta I think we lack depth in the three quarters.
In terms of the score. It's a tough one. We come off the back of poor result and performance against the Rams which without being arrogant was not a game I had down as a possible defeat. Swinton had a slow start to life in the Championship, but of late have been playing much better. Home advantage will be the difference and I will go for a Cougar victory. If we can cut out the silly mistakes and our offensive game clicks we could put some points on the board.
Cougars 26 - Swinton 10
First Try - Semi

| Cougars 32-Swinton 22
MOM;March(if he plays)
ATT;920
Watched Swinton play York on Premier Sports a couple of weeks ago, they looked a more than capable side in this division, they have quality all over the park,Cougars will have to be on top of there game and cut the errors out,
I have noticed watching Premier Sports this season the crowds have been a bit on the quiet side, lets all get behind the Cougars on Thursday and make some noise.

| Yes '666' I said it won't be a walk in the park... and so far this season the top teams playing Hunslet have probably found it a bit of a walk in the park. With them as a bit of an exception the league is very unpredictable. Swinton have been improving and had some good scorelines against strong sides. I think there will be a lot of close competitive games this season. I'm hoping we beat Swinton, but it's going to be very close throughout the majority of the game I reckon.
I hope it is as exciting as when we played them at Salford last season, that game really stuck in my mind. What an atmosphere.

That was a rumour doing the rounds close season. I can only imagine if it was Solomona it would be a loan as he can still do a job in SL but has been out with a broken leg. Maybe sending him to Cougar Park for a few weeks to get his fitness up could benefit both. The article did say a second row/centre and am not sure you could ever class David as a centre.

| IF it was "Tiny" which im certain it isnt , you would certainly need to keep him away from Andys Pies
I think Swinton could do us tommorow if we are not on top form. It all depends if clowns.. sorry players like Barnett will feature. Get Marchy back in , we need the likes of Korki and Sheriffe to be prepared to spill some blood tommorow.

| Couldn't agree more 'Skindred' - OK he's saved some tries but why on earth doesn't he simply RUN?
He's a 'ditherer' - ala Alex Brown in his early days with us but, let's be serious, RB isn't new to the game and he needs to be more direct in his approach. What about his abysmal (non) 'take' at Dewsbury?
I'd still like to see Sheriffe in his place.

Jessie was awesome for the reserves tonight Ran hard , made good ground and tackled his heart out , also rocksteady under some real real testing kicks from Fax.
BTW Final result from the Shay 28-16 to Fax , but no shame in the score for the young uns against a strong home team . Two Gav Duffy tries , plus one from Jamie Sheppard and two Ben Stead goals .No score to either team till 35 mins in showed what a tight game it was and the Keighley lads were still in contention right up to the final 5or 6 mins ,when they just ran out of gas.
Sheriffe with out doubt MOM for us ,Jamie Stephenson and Charlie Ecclelstone stood out as well , but to be fair the whole 17 really gave Fax a scare.

| Got to say at half time I fancied our chances of a result but you blew us away in the second half and fully deserved your win.
Still can't undersatnd why it went so wrong, granted we had a few bad reffing decisions but the so did you in the first half.I do think you benefited from not playing on sunday as we definatley looked tired in the second half.
Well done Keighley.
