P1ss poor doesn't cover it, the display we showed today was not worthy of the championship, nothing more to say on the matter

As poor as the ref was, we were worse.

Credit to Batley, they held us out when we had them under sustained pressure. If we had played with an ounce of intelligence we would have scored two possibly three tries in the first 20 mins, then who knows?

Batley were fortunate with a couple of their early tries but boy did they make us pay once they got in front. They had the confidence to play expansive rugby that was very attractive to watch. There will be some very happy Batley fans tonight.

Good to see how Batley have gradually and steadily developed their ground (but shame about the slope) - A role model to others?. Its good to see how Harrison has a team of local lads playing collectively above their individual ability.

Words, I have none to describe that.
I will not be editing and highlighting the performance on a video this week.

I would rather watch my own firing squad than sit through that again.

Battered them ??? Not from Where I was sitting......matched them i would say for 20 minutes in the armwrestle then there was only one team in it.
Keighley then resorted to niggle and came off second best at that also looking at the huge split across the eye that bully boy Shickell had in the bar afterwards, courtesy of the smallest bloke on the pitch !

We were second best all over the park today and Batley deserved the victory, as we are now down i would like to see Barry play some of the reserves in the 1st team to give them some experience.

To be fair, I think we were the better team in the first 20 min but that is little consolation when we were played off the park for the remaining 60.

I'm not so sure if we started the niggle or just responded to it.

If I really want to argue I could say .. Attendance 952 ....with prob 100 from Keighley .. where was the 2000 from Blackpool. ??

As a Cougar fan .. despite the result ...enjoyed the game today ..Mount Pleasant is a cracking venue to watch .. n despite this idiots comments .. all the Cougar Faitjful had a cracking day

After todays game i hope the diehards will still support the team in the remaining games this season, not like the leigh fans on there thread who are complaining about losing today and they are in the playoffs if they are like that after one bad result wot would they be like if they were in our position.

where was jermaine wray? i think we realy missed him and he would have lifted us after that first 20.

dont know where danny jones was? dont think he touched the ball in the second half.

We only had 3 props in the 17, I'm surprised a youngster wasn't given a chance, shows a lack of faith in the reserves IMO.

That said Karl Harrison was on Radio Leeds saying that Batley only had 17 fit players available.

Doesnt surprise me, dont think there was anything special about batley at all. Imagine if they'd have played well!!

I couldn't believe how bad we were.
